Abstract:
In order to improve the overall revenue of different types of units in thermal power plants, an analysis was conducted on the characteristics of steam energy storage tank coupled cogeneration units. Using the Python solver, the heat storage and release properties of the steam energy storage tank were analyzed to determine the unit's operational intervals. A benefit model was developed to quantify peak load, carbon emissions, power generation and heating load, thereby obtaining the comprehensive operational benefits of the unit. Furthermore, an optimization strategy was implemented for the energy storage unit's charging and discharging, with the objective of maximizing daily revenue. Results show that on a typical day, compared to uncoupled energy storage tank, the net income of the entire plant increases by 82 000 yuan after coupled energy storage.
